Vote For What You Want Me to Review Next!
So I'm trying to decide which movie series I want to review next. I have several lined up. Say, how about everyone leaves comments on which of the below choices I should choose and the winner will be fortunate enough to be graced with my movie reviews! I figure I'll let you folks vote for a few days and that's what I'll watch this weekend. In the meantime I'll be adding a few single reviews here and there to tide you (or rather me) over.
Choose one of the following film franchises for me to review and post a comment with your choice:
-Troll
-Phantasm
-The Howling
-Children of the Corn
-Friday the 13th
-____________ (pick one not listed)

The Blood Spattered Bride (1972, Vicente Aranda)

Do Carnosaur, definitely Carnosaur.
ReplyDeleteIncidentally Critters gave me nighmares for 2 weeks when I saw it on video, which was whenever it came out. It was the good aliens melting face scene that did it.
I don't have any of the Carnosaur movies though I've heard of their infamy. If anyone wants to burn me copies of any dvds and mail them to me, I will definitely review them.
ReplyDeleteIf you're willing to sit through the crappy "Howling" sequels like 3 and 4, more power to you.
ReplyDeleteI always recommend the "Leprechaun" films as well, having reviewed Part 4 already.
My votes for The Howling, I think they each offer something different and uniquely crappy
ReplyDeleteTimTE01 - I have all of the Howling movies (and have for awhile now), just haven't gotten around to any of them besides part 1 and 2.
ReplyDeleteLeprechaun is a great suggestion. I've only seen the first one way back in the day (before anyone knew who Jennifer Aniston was). I'll admit that the thought of Leprechaun in Space and Leprechaun in the Hood have always intrigued me.
I won't spoil too much about Leprechaun 4 or 5 for you.
ReplyDelete-Leprechaun 4's plot involves low-rent 'Starship Troopers' characters, a cyborg and a princess.
-Leprechaun 5's plot involves a magical flute, gangstas and Ice-T.
I honestly have yet to see Part 6 (aka Back 2 The Hood). I'm hoping they make Part 7, if only for the subtitle- Leprechaun: Back 3 The Hood.
On a side note, more people need to mock The Howling III: The Marsupials. It's just...so terrible-looking.
Hey, I think Troll would be great!
ReplyDeleteFor the record ...Piranha. Even though it's probably not technically a franchise, I'd like to see how the sequels and remakes using the name all tie in.
ReplyDeleteSo far the winner is Howling with a whopping 2 votes. I'll give it until Friday or Saturday.
