ReplyDeleteMykal - I have heard of a couple of Eddie Romero's films (Black Mama White Mama, Beast of Blood and Beast of the Yellow Night) but haven't actually seen any of them. If you see any, let me know how they are.
ReplyDeleteI have seen so far "Brides of Blood" which I thought was so good I bought the whole set of Blood Island movies. All of Romero's work is low, low budget but very imaginative with a difinite "out there" quality. Think Edward Wood with the ability to direct. I think you might like them.
